Working with sculpture to actualise the effects of human interaction and its permanent impact on individuals. Drawing inspiration from personal experience with violence, affection and judgment expressed towards those with and without a physical disability. The current exploration of various human interaction experiences by individuals and the consequences associated with them, whether the exchange is intended to be positive or negative. Each piece serves as a realisation of the permanent marks left on individuals’ bodies and minds by personal or social interactions. Utilising wet ceramic forms, bodily influence from peers contributes to the morphing representation of each action: love, anger and passing. After firing, the works express the frozen, lasting effects of human connections through the ceramic's permanent, immortalising effect. The series invites contemplation of the complexities of physical human connection and its irreparable effects.
