Reflecting on the calm comfort that I felt in these spaces, I reminisce and feel nostalgic for the nature I now miss. In my wheelchair, I am unable to access these spaces, unable to feel the grass, unable to feel the earth. This disconnection from nature is the greatest heartbreak I have ever felt. As I yearn for a space that never belonged to me but felt like a home, I document the scenes and the emotions in paint, attempting to feel my home near me again.
